We were the closest family possible. Our world was turned upside down on 05/03/09 when my best friend, the person I love most next only to our children, my sister Trina was diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer. Her body gave out on her on 01/09/10 but she will ALWAYS be a part of our daily life and will continue to be in my posts. I started my blog to chronicle our daughter's international adoption from Guatemala and have continued to use it as a journal.

What you will find is my family trying to adapt to our new lives that were handed to us.

Too funny!!!!

My best friend Amanda emailed me this a while ago and I hadn't had a chance to listen/read it until tonight and I was cracking up! You do need to have your volume turned up a bit to hear it but it has subtitles too. I needed a laugh tonight! Here it is:

Enjoy! Until later.......

Mailman has come and gone.....

.......and still nothing good. Well, Norm's paycheck, which was a good one since he worked all weekend. That's good. But it's not paperwork good. Also, I started reading Erin's blog, and she cracks me up!!!!! Some of her older things, like the Marie Osmond dolls had me laughing out loud last night. She's very funny. Check her out if you need a good laugh. Sadly, she can't bring home her baby for Christmas. Seems like this damn adoption is just full of disappointment, until we get to bring our babies home. THIS SUCKS!!!!!! Tell me, dear readers, what sucks in your life right now? C'mon, don't make me be the only whiner. Make me feel better, bitch to me about yourself. Until later......
