We were the closest family possible. Our world was turned upside down on 05/03/09 when my best friend, the person I love most next only to our children, my sister Trina was diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer. Her body gave out on her on 01/09/10 but she will ALWAYS be a part of our daily life and will continue to be in my posts. I started my blog to chronicle our daughter's international adoption from Guatemala and have continued to use it as a journal.

What you will find is my family trying to adapt to our new lives that were handed to us.

So Ashamed

I'm so ashamed of myself. In my haste to throw my pity party, I neglected to post that Asa went pee pee in the potty today!!!!! His first time in his potty chair at our house!!!! I thought for sure it was just a diversion tactic as I was trying to get him to take a nap, but nope! He had to go! We threw a pee pee party and he was so proud of himself. Aren't I an awful tia? I'm so horrible. Until later.......

the trio that I spend time with every week are potty training.... imagine THREE all at once!!! We had a poopy party this week when they all went at the same time... in the three little potties lined up side by side.

Celebrate the little steps!
