Happy Birthday!
I went shopping..... again..... today. Got some cool stuff on sale. I've been aching to redo our bedroom/bathroom but haven't been able to find anything that I liked. Well, guess what I found today?! A beautiful green and yellow Shabby Chic duvet cover! I already have some sheets that go with it and then I found a closely related shower curtain to go with it so I bought a few new yellow towels to complete the look and voila, new look for about $45! I did discover, however, that Target does not sell yellow sheets. I was pretty bummed. Oh well. When I got home, I had to leave everything in the car so Norm wouldn't know what all I had bought. Uh-oh, sounds like I'm trying to hide my shopping buys, that's never a good sign.
Anyway, I'm going to try to figure out how to upload some funny video I have of Norm and Asa. So if I get around to it, I'll post later. If not, well, it was funny. Until later..............

You can't really tell how funny it looks, but as soon as he woke up, he wanted to play light saber with Uncle Norm. I'm about ready to run over these damn light sabers with my car!
More light saber action
Eating dinner. You can see on his t-shirt is a picture of him and Papa. This was taken the day my dad retired. It was the last time Asa would go see the big trucks my dad drove.
Papa reading to Asa
I just love watching my dad with Asa. I can't wait to see him with Carolina Valentina!
And here we made the mistake at laughing at Asa when he bit his feet so he did it over and over again.
They were reading a book either Aunt Margo or Drunk Cousin Caroline had sent home for him from California. It's a book in Spanish.
Asa started reading some Christmas book I had just bought on clearance.
Asa climbed on top of "Bey-ya" and was asking her to read Thomas to him.
Mom gave Asa her reading glasses and told him to read it to her.
No go, Asa just put the glasses back on mom!
And here is papa, getting read to go to bed with his books. Trina and I laughed at him and sissy said it looked like he was going home with homework!
I have a picture of Carolina on our tv stand and the other day I asked Asa who it was. "Asa" was his response. I explained that no, it's his prima Carolina Valentina. Asa shook his head and said "No, Asa sleeping" (she's asleep in the picture). I told Asa that it was my baby girl who is in Guatemala right now. Asa just looked at me and then the picture and said "Asa cute baby!". I swear, this child is crazy! Like Trina said, the two of them are going to be nothing but trouble! And blessings. But mostly trouble is going to follow them around like, well, like Jack, Chrissy and Janet on "Three's Company"! There! Until later.........
