We were the closest family possible. Our world was turned upside down on 05/03/09 when my best friend, the person I love most next only to our children, my sister Trina was diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer. Her body gave out on her on 01/09/10 but she will ALWAYS be a part of our daily life and will continue to be in my posts. I started my blog to chronicle our daughter's international adoption from Guatemala and have continued to use it as a journal.

What you will find is my family trying to adapt to our new lives that were handed to us.

Still Feeling Bad.....

...... but now I'm researching airfare/hotel for THIS!!!!!!!!!! until later....

Still Crappy

But at least I'm sick this week and not NEXT when we have V!!! I'm soooooo thankful for that!!! I just hope Norm doesn't get it. Or mom. Norm's pretty good about not getting sick from me. I think he'll be fine. He has been sneezing a lot lately, but mom has had allergies lately too. For the first time since our referral I've been able to really think and dream about holding V and playing with her. It still doesn't seem real. And Natalie is finally home with Bella!!! WOOOHOOO!!!!!!! I'm soooo happy!!!!!! About time girl! Now Andrea's attorney needs to get on the ball and get K ready to come home!!!! I have a "picture quilt" of all the Guate blogs that I follow and the baby's on their own square with their name and birthday. Anne Pearce was the first one I was able to write down a "home date" on and it was wonderful!!! Bella was next! Yay! Now K (soon!). It gives me hope that these baby's DO come home. It's NOT a myth! Well, I'm headed back to bed. My mom was so sweet yesterday, she came over and changed my sheets for me. I love clean sheets and didn't have the strength to do it myself so she did it for me. I love my mom! Until later........
